[AD] Estarer Childrens Backpack

With having two boys in school or playgroup all week, a decent backpack is something both boys need to have. James had his school bag replaced last summer, and Freddie started using one of James old bags, but once it came to him starting his preschool hours January just gone we knew he was going to need a newer and bigger bag. We could just not find one that we liked in the time frame we had to find one, So he started using James old school bag from Reception and Year One as it was bigger and it had a chest clip which I loved!

When we received an email from the lovely people at Estarer offering us one of their children's backpacks for Freddie we were thrilled! This is actually the first new bag Freddie has had for school since he started and I can see him using this bag for at least the next couple of years!

The four main features of this bag are:
  • Light and Durable – The backpack weighs 0.46kg making it perfect size and weight for Freddie.
  • Speciality Pockets – 1 main compartment with an adjustable strap, 2 pouches, 1 pocket, 2 front pockets and two side pockets.
  • Chest strap – This helps to keep the backpack secure and on Freddie’s back, making it more comfortable when he is carrying it. There is also a trolley handle strap, so if we go away anywhere Freddie can still use his bag and we can just slip it over the handle of our case to make it easier to carry!
  • Shoulder Strap – This is wider and adjustable to offer more comfort and support and to distribute the weight of the bag evenly!
Freddie started to use the bag for school the very next day and mummy was so impressed with it! There was plenty of space on the inside for all the things Freddie needs to take with him! There is even enough room for him to take a second spare set of clothes with him!

I can definitely see Freddie using this bag all the way through the rest of playgroup, school nursery and into reception class!

First Impressions of the Cute Nico Backpack

As a busy mummy with two boys aged five and two, a big bag is a necessity! However I prefer a stylish but practical bag as I am definitely not a girly girl and don't really like fancy bags! I much prefer a backpack especially for when I am out and about! I find it much easier to wrestle a toddler from his pram at sure start with a backpack on my back than a bag slung over my shoulder!

When Cute Nico got in touch and asked if we would like to try out there backpack I was thrilled especially as next year we have two big trips coming up involving a lot of travelling!

When I first opened the box I was so impressed with the size of the bag. As a mum of two boys aged 5 and 2 I certainly carry a lot when we are out and about.

The bag comes with two smaller bags that fit into the front pocket of the bag. One of these is a mesh bag and the other is insulated. In the mesh bag I have two pull ups, some nappy bags and two small packets of travel baby wipes. In the insulated bag I have put some of Freddie's snacks in but will add in his water cup or milk when we go out! The bag comes with a huge changing mat which I love as Freddie is not the smallest two year old! This fits perfectly into the pocket inside the main part of the bag.

In the main compartment I have a change of clothes for Freddie and his inhaler with spacer. When James is with us I will add in some spare clothes for him as well!

Overall our first impressions of the Cute Nico backpack have been brilliant! Check back in January to see how it fares on days out over Christmas holidays with two boys!

Zip and Zoe what's in your backpack

We have been working with Zip and Zoe as brand ambassadors for a few months now and James totally loves his bag!

Zip and Zoe are running a fantastic competition and all you need to do is show them "what's in your backpack!"

So this is what is in our Zip and Zoe Dino's bag!

First off this is our bag! Isn't it awesome we love the bright colours and well who doesn't love a dinosaur!

James uses his bag for school, so inside we have his reading book and his reading record book. He also has his water bottle on the front pocket and his suntan lotion, which lives n the small front pocket.

We also have random little bits which he throws in his bag, for example the plastic jewels are from his swashbuckle magazine and the string and rubber bands is a 'necklace' he made at school.

So to enter this fantastic competition share what is in your backpack to Instagram tagging @zipandzoe using the hashtag #whatsinmybackpack you could win an Amazon voucher and a Zip and Zoe backpack and lunch set.
