Our 2015

What can I say about 2015 other than what a year!

January saw us make the decision to start looking into buying our own house. We saw numerous properties till we saw a gorgeous little three bed roomed house in north Kenton. We put an offer in and it was accepted!!

February we gave our two months notice on rented property and started packing up, clearing out and arranging storage for our stuff.

March we celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary, then found out the day after we were expecting baby two!

April we celebrated my 30th birthday and also moved out of our rented house and in with my mum and dad while the house purchase went through.

May we completed on the house and took ownership on 27th May! We also announced baby two was on the way after our 12 week scan.

June our gorgeous little nephew Jayden was born two days before his wonderful mummy celebrated her own birthday. We also officially moved into our house!

July we had our 20 week scan and announced baby two was another boy! James had his first visit to the nursery he would be starting in September.

August was the month James turned three! We celebrated by going to Big Luke's at intu metro centre and watching the metro gnomes show! James also started potty training at last!

September James started nursery school! We were so proud of our little man! He had a rough start as he was so used to being with mummy, but now he loves it!

October we started preparing for baby boy arriving!

November our second little boy Freddie Andrew Tinline Hockley arrived on the 25th at 1219pm.

December well first Christmas in our house and first Christmas for Freddie although he slept through most of it! We ended December with a stay in great north children's hospital for Freddie with a bout of bronchiolitis.

2016 is going to be another great year with James starting primary school in September and watching him and Freddie grow up!

Our entry for H&A Bathtime Fun Squad

So we have applied to be ambassadors for H&A Bathtime Fun Squad 2015.
James is a complete bath addict, which is funny as when he was first born he absolutely hated his baths and would cry his eyes out every time we went to put him in.

We have been sent some squirting ducks to play with in the bath so check out how much fun James is having with them.

When we first opened the box James was thrilled with the ducks. He loves bath toys that are bright colours and these grabbed his attention straight away. He had just woken up from a nap and was still rather grumpy but they cheered him up no end!!

We opened up the packaging so James could have a good look at the ducks and he wanted to play with them straight away! I took this as a good sign of how much he liked them.

He was sitting on the floor playing with the ducks getting so excited telling us what colours they all were.

When it came to Bathtime James grabbed all his ducks and virtually ran up the stairs to put them in the bath.

These were lucky ducks as they got to ride in his toy lifeboat he was bought from Amble RNLI.

James loved showing us the ducks and telling us what colours they were.

On a scale of one to ten these squirting bath ducks have been a massive ELEVEN!!!! Every time bath time is mentioned James remembers the ducks are there and gets even more excited than normal.

We have really enjoyed reviewing these ducks and I'm sure these ducks are going to be coming with us when we go and visit with nana!

Here's my first post of January  2015 #snaphappybritmums photo challenge days 1 to 10.

Day Two the promt was "Nature" so for nature I posted a photo of the apple tree in my parents garden I grew from a pip when I was a child.

Day four prompt was "Me Today" so here is me not looking my best

Day five the prompt was "8am" and this was my view at 8am James watching the end of noddy in toy land. One of his favourite TV shows.

Day six promt was "frost/snow/ice" we didn't actually have any today so I found an old photo I took on a cold winters morning walk of a frozen River Wansbeck.

Day seven prompt was "looking down" this was the view looking down at our lounge floor this morning after the bomb aka James hit!!

Day eight prompt was "I'm reading" so a screen grab from my kindle app of the front cover of the latest
