Our Weekend Happy!

Welcome back to Our Weekend Happy. 

This weekend it was the end of Snowmageddon or The Beast from the East! 
It has been so cold and snowy up here in Newcastle. Since school was closed on Friday we took a walk to Tesco and poor mummy hurt her wrist pushing the pushchair back! The rest of the day was spent chilling in the house watching Netflix and trying to keep warm!

 Saturday we got up and just spent the morning chilling out in the house, then in the afternoon James had his friends party so mummy and James took a snowy walk over to James friends house. Then after the party mummy went to the shop for some food for tea!

Sunday mummy and Freddie took a snowy walk to tesco, Still struggling with the pram in the snow but it was the only way! Mummy and daddy did a big clean up of the house as well! We even tackled the toy mountain in the lounge with some toys going upstairs, some to charity and some that were broken to the bin! we then put the remainder into the toy box! I'm just hoping the boys don't bring half the upstairs toys back down!

Finally on Sunday the snow started to thaw and then we even had some rain that started to wash the snow away! Although when we got up for school on Monday we still had loads of slushy icey yucky stuff outside and we still struggled to school with the pram!

Next weekend is Mother's Day so hopefully we will see Nana and Gaga at some point to celebrate!

Our Weekend Happy

Welcome back to another post on what we have done on the weekend!

So as normal we started the weekend at three fifteen when we collected James from school! We came home and both boys had their after school snack, while mummy opened some windows as the living room stank from changing Freddie's sticky nappy before we left for the school run!

While mummy finished cooking the roast chicken dinner for tea and doing the washing up the boys were playing in the living room and mummy came in to find Freddie jumping on James!

                         

 

Later on after tea the boys and mummy had a game of pop up pirate! James absolutely loves this game and this was the first time we had tried to play it with Freddie! He was having a ball putting the swords in and shouting my "turn my turn!"

                          

                                                

Once Daddy was home it was getting near to bed time and daddy was going to put Freddie down in his room but  Freddie was having none of it and was shouting for his mummy! So Freddie ended up in mummy and daddy's bed while daddy put James to sleep! I think we have the last of the molars coming in as he was really grumpy in his sleep!

Saturday started at 6am when Freddie woke up demanding Peppa! So mummy put on Netflix so we could get a little bit more sleep till James woke up an hour later, Then it was breakfast time for the boys and Milkshake on channel 5!

Mummy and Freddie then popped to Tesco to go and get Freddie some passport photos taken as we need to get the boys passports done asap before the price shoots up in March. While Mummy was at Tesco James stayed back at home with daddy and did his maths homework! The rest of the day was just spent chilling out and watching the rugby!

Sunday Mummy and Freddie did a little shop at Aldi to top us up on little bits as we are trying to eat out the Freezer again as it is pretty jam packed and needs emptying! Then it was chill out for the rest of the day before school on Monday! And of course Sunday night finishes with Dancing On Ice which mummy adores and now James does too!

Our Weekend Happy

Our weekend started on Friday lunch time when I picked up James from school early as he had a dentist appointment. We were staying at mum and dads house that night and James loves it especially as he got to play on his new scalextric. Freddie was sharing a bed with mummy and he took up so much room!!

 

Saturday started early when Freddie woke up at 6am, so it was peppa pig on the iPad in bed. Gaga and James got up and played on the scalextric and somehow James managed to shoot his car off the track and it disappeared into thin air! Nana and Gaga eventually found it once we were at home as it had gone sideways under their tv unit!

James had his hair trimmed by Gaga too! He also did his homework and his school reading book. Freddie was watching milkshake on channel 5 with mummy and he loved trying to copy the presenters dance routine for the Dinosaur song!

 

We got back home at lunchtime where Freddie actually had a nap. We had a walk down to aldi to look at the bedding in the special buys and buying a new duvet for mummy and daddy before it was time for tea and bed for the boys! 

 

 Sunday morning started with the boys jumping into our bed and watching peppa and paw patrol on the iPad while mummy and daddy dozed. Once we were up we had a walk across to the local tesco to get some vegetables. Once we were home the boys and daddy did some FaceTime with daddy's parents in Surrey. Both boys loved seeing the cats! While they were doing this mummy was in the kitchen making tomato and pepper soup for lunch! 

So that was our weekend!!
