The Siblings Project Round Up June to September

June
This was taken when we made our first visit to Dippy the Diplodocus when he was visiting Great North Museum on his trip around the UK!
July
This was taken one weekend when we were getting ready to go out! Both boys were actually wearing hats at this point, although Freddie's did not stay on his head for long!

August
This was taken when we made our second visit to see Dippy the Diplodocus! We had booked a quieter session for the second trip as a precaution, and it was a good job as it was much more calm and not as dark or loud!

September
This was taken on Freddie's first day at the school nursery! It was so strange to see both the boys in the same uniform! Even now just over three months later it is crazy to see them both dressed in uniform!

Living Arrows 2019 50/52

Welcome to Living Arrows post 2019! If you haven't heard of the linky before, This was set up by Donna at What the Redhead Said and the name comes from the poem by Kahlil Gibran "You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth" Each week I post one photo of James and one photo of Freddie and share what they have been up to that week!

This week James has had his school production and a trip to the panto with Beavers.

Freddie had a great time at school preparing for his nativity.

Siblings Round up 2019 January to May!

And so it is December and the final Siblings Project of 2019 has just been posted. So here is a round up of all our Sibling Project images from January to December 2019!

January
This was taken before James went to Beavers, he was looking so smart in his uniform and Freddie wanted in on the photograph action!

February
This was after school one night when Freddie had stolen James Spiderman glove!

March
This was again after school. James wanted to give Freddie a cuddle, but Freddie was having none of it!

April
This was taken when we were waiting to go into Baltic Contemporary Arts Centre, as we had been invited to the preview of a new exhibition!

May
This was taken when mummy and Freddie went to collect James from his JOTT (Jamboree on the trail!) hike with Beavers. I expect that next year mummy will be doing JOTT too!

Siblings December

Wow the final siblings post of 2019!It literally does not seem five minutes since I made the first post of 2019 and now here we are on the last post of the year!

The boys have grown up and changed so much! At the start of the year, Freddie had just turned 3 and had just started his 15 preschool hours at our local playgroup! We were also still trying to navigate his allergies and see what was still causing him problems. Now in December he is 4 years old, in our local primary school nursery and he has been allergy reaction clear for four and a half months!

James has grown up so much this year! He is now 7 years old, he has done 3 nights away with his Beaver Colony and one school residential trip for one night!

I am looking forward to continuing this series come 2020 as it is a lovely way to see how much the boys have grown up over the year!

What have the Elves been getting up to?

So it's the 11th of December and Rhul and Elfis have been here for just over a week! I thought it was about time to show you what they have been getting up to!

1st December
Since mummy and James had been away for the night with Beavers, The elves decided to hide in James bedroom so when he got home and went upstairs to get changed he found them! Also it meant Freddie would not find them till mummy and James got home!

2nd December
Naughty Elfis decided he was going to lock Rhul in the crate for James Crate Creature!
Poor Rhul was not looking too impressed as he tried to escape through the hole the creature puts its tongue out of!

3rd December
The naughty elves decided they were going to take a toilet roll for a trip down the stairs! Poor Rhul though he got pushed down the stairs in the middle of the tube by naughty Elfis

4th December
Uh oh the elves decided to try and swing from the light fitting! This pair are getting naughtier by the day! I swear it!

5th December
The elves decided to try and make James some breakfast!

6th December
Uh oh they tried to escape!

7th December
The elves went to sit in the fridge as they were missing the cold!

8th December
They tried to use the exercise bike!

9th December
They wanted to watch some TV!

10th December

Living Arrows 2019 49/52

Welcome to Living Arrows post 2019! If you haven't heard of the linky before, This was set up by Donna at What the Redhead Said and the name comes from the poem by Kahlil Gibran "You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth" Each week I post one photo of James and one photo of Freddie and share what they have been up to that week!

This week started pretty quiet as daddy was back to work after being on holiday for a week. Then it went crazy as when we got home from picking up James, poor Freddie was sick all over our door mat so it was two days off school for him! He was perfectly fine after he was sick so we think it might have been allergy related rather than sickness bug as if he is sick from his allergies he normally is fine within five minutes!

James had a smart scoot at school on the Tuesday so he had to take his scooter and helmet in with him! He then decided he wanted to scoot to school the next day as well! James also went carol singing at our local Asda with with our Beaver colony! He had such a good time! I cannot believe he has been at the Beavers for one year and one term almost! He has definitely gained a lot of confidence since he started! And come September he will be in Cubs as he will be eight!!

Freddie finally went back into nursery on Thursday, just in time for the school fair on the Friday afternoon! Mummy had to rearrange most of her week due to Freddie being off nursery for two days! Not a lot got done work wise!

Living Arrows 2019 48/52

Welcome to Living Arrows post 2019! If you haven't heard of the linky before, This was set up by Donna at What the Redhead Said and the name comes from the poem by Kahlil Gibran "You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth" Each week I post one photo of James and one photo of Freddie and share what they have been up to that week!

This has been a busy week for us all! James had a busy week at school and then we finished the week with James and mummy being on camp at Beamish open aired museum in County Durham with our Beaver Colony! It was so cold but we had a brilliant time!

Freddie has had a great week at nursery and they he got to spend the weekend with daddy while we were away! We also started the week with Freddie turning 4! He had such a great day even thought he was at nursery for three hours!
