Freddie at 23 months

Oh Freddie how can we be only four weeks away from you turning two!

In the last month your speech has come on so much! You can string a few simple words together like where daddy and out there or up there! Your favourite thing to shout is where j after we drop James off at school.

Speaking of your brother you and him have got even closer. You absolutely adore each other! Now he is back to school you miss him during the day and when I tell you it's time to go and get him you get so excited!

We will be introducing you to the potty soon as you are starting to tell us when you need a new nappy by either shouting bum or getting your changing mat and shouting bum!

You are wearing all 18-24 mo th clothing and some 2-3 bits already! You are in a size 4 pull up and a size 6+ nappy at night.

You are the most mischievous kid though! You are always looking for trouble! At nanas you have learned if you climb onto her sofa you can then climb into the window! You also run up and down the stairs at every given chance! You are totally obsessed with the washing machine and tumble dryer! We have to check the washer for toys before we use it!

You only have milk in a bottle at bed time, the rest of the time it's in your 360 cup! You live bread sticks and as I write this you are onto your third in the last half hour!

You are definitely very much a mummy's boy still. You love nothing more than snuggling up in mummy's bed and cuddling into me all night!

I cannot believe you will be two next time I write to you
All my love

Freddie at 19 months

So another month closer to you turning two my little man.

You are such a little character. You have the cheekiest smile and your eyes light up when you see your mummy!

You are definitely at mummy's boy, but as soon as daddy gets home from work you stop whatever you are doing and run to the door shouting dada dada!

Your sleeping has got much better lately. You are sleeping from around 7pm till 11pm having 6oz of milk and then sleeping till half 6am

You are wearing a size 4 pull up and size 5+ nappy. Your clothes are a mixture of 12-18 and 18-24. You are very nearly onto cow's milk. We have been swapping you over very slowly and so far there has been no reaction!

You had your first trip to Warkworth beach on father's day. You loved digging in the sand. You were not keen on the sea as it was quite cold but you kept running towards the sea hwhen mummy and daddy went in. You even threw your hat in!

You have started getting very upset when we take James to school. You scream and cry but when we go to pick him up you have the biggest smile.

You still love your baby group at sure start. You have discovered the taps in the toilets and you and your little pals are always running in and turning them off and on!

You are definitely mischievous, and your eyes light up with mischief when you see something you shouldn't!

You have been to your second hoppings at Newcastle town moor, last year you were little and couldn't go on anything. This year you went on a ride with James and you loved it!

Love you so much my little dude

Ten things that make me happy

I've been tagged by the lovely Chelle at http://www.chellemccann.com to write a post on ten things that make me happy.

1. Hearing James read his school book. James is the youngest in his class at school and does struggle with his reading and writing, so hearing him sounding out letters and blending them into words makes me happy.

2. Hearing Freddie snoring on a night. My good sleeper has turned into a rubbish sleeper so I value anytime he's actually asleep.

3. My friends. My best friends may not be local to me, but I know they are always at the other end of the phone.

4. Andy. My wonderful husband is probably my best friend and he's always been there for me in good times and bad.

5. My iPad. I'm such a geek and love technology. I tend to do most of my blogging work on my iPad as Freddie tries to slam the laptop shut on my fingers or climb up the chair or even try and tip me off the chair!

6. Tea! I love a good cup of tea and generally drink about 6 cups during the day!

7. Photography. I actually have an a/s level in photography and I love the work of Ansel Adams.

8. Spending one on one time with James. Since Freddie came along I don't really get much time with just James, so when I get that time I love it!

9. Freddie giving a big smile as you know he's either done something mischievous or is about too. He's way more mischievous than James was at the same age!

10. Having a day out as a family. Andy used to work every other Saturday, so now he's off every weekend we try and do something as a family.

I'm tagging the lovely Lucy at http://mrshsfavouritethings.com/

Freddie at 14 months

Freddie you are now 14 months old! Where has the time gone! It really does not seem five minutes since you were a tiny newborn!

You are very mischievous, definitely worse than your brother ever was! You have finally realised you can walk with your push along walkers. It's so funny to watch you zoom across the lounge!

You have discovered we have stairs in our house and that they are for climbing! You love nothing  more than standing at the bottom banging and yelling at James! Although today at 14 months old you made it half way up when you escaped daddy!

You are still in 12-18 clothes with the odd bit of 9-12 thrown in. You hate having your nappy changed! You are always taking off mid change, laughing your head off! You have just graduated to the bath with no bath seat and boy do you give us a soaking!

You love nothing more than playing with your big brother! You think your brother is brilliant and he can always make you laugh! Your face always lights up when your brother comes into the room or when he runs out of school shouting Freddie!

You still love your milk, just as much as food! You are still a mummy's boy.

You have three teeth at the front at the top and four at the front on the bottom! You also have your first molar nearly through on the top left! These teeth have turned my happy boy into such a grump!

Lots of love Freddie bear

Freddie at 13 Months

Well Freddie you are now thirteen months old! How did that happen! It's also your second Christmas Day so Happy Christmas gorgeous boy!

So since you turned one we have had to finish our baby social group at sure start. We had a lovely last session with your little pals who sang happy birthday to you or well their mummies did! We still have our fun, play and learn on a Thursday morning so we get to see lots of your pals there!

You are still in 5+ nappies and now well into 12-18 clothes! You are such a speedy crawler and a demon climber! We cannot take our eyes of you for a second! You have seven teeth and are a bit of a biter! You love nothing more than climbing onto mummy and biting my shoulder! You also love FaceTime! You have been known to hit the iPad screen and end up calling people! Normally it's your nana and gaga!

You can say mama, dada, mum mum, brubre, gaga. Nana is still a bit upset you won't say nana but you have said it once!

You are still very much a mummy's boy and you go mental if I leave the room. You love being chased then picked up going gotcha! You are very ticklish and have the adorable giggle! You love it when James tickles you!

Your favourite foods are pasta, melon and apple! You just love your food!

Love you so much

Santa's Odd List!

So it's the time of year when parents everywhere are taking their children to see Santa.

This got me thinking about Christmases past and visits we have made to see Santa and the odd things my darling oldest son has asked for! Christmas 2014 when James was just over two, we took him to see Santa in a local shopping centre and he asked for milk and yoghurt! Then last year 2015 when he was just over three and Freddie was newborn, James asked for a white fire engine!

I decided to ask some of my fellow bloggers if their children had ever asked for anything odd or if I was the only one to have a crazy child!

Amy from www.thesmallestofthings.com said Scarlett asked for chocolate because I wouldn't let her have any. So she said she'll put it on her kissmass list!

Jade from  www.lateforreality.co.uk said Ted's list has some odd things on. Marshmallows are one and 'so many books' is another. Today he asked for Sausage and Mash from Santa!

Kate from www.countingtoten.co.uk said M has just written her letter to Santa and all it has on it is a slap band. So her stocking can contain just one of those right? I can provide a pic?

Amy from www.2boys1mum.com said My eldest wants a real bell from Santa's sleigh so he knows that Santa is real. (He likes the book Polar Express!)

Kate from http://myfamilyfever.co.uk said Max (3) has asked for spaghetti, a yellow pencil and a real Stegosaurus.

Lucy from Http://mrshsfavouritethings.com said Last year Little Miss H asked for a block of cheese. We asked her if she wanted any special cheese. And she said no, just cheese. "I like cheese". We bought her a scooter instead. Bad mummy!!!

Sarah from http://www.runjumpscrap.com said hmm possibly odd for a 3 year old...a chocolate fountain... what??  She knows she is not getting it as Mummy told Santa!

So it's not just me that's child asks for odd things! So relieved this year he actually asked for a game!

Freddie at 11 Months Old

Freddie Bear how can you be eleven months old! Only four weeks and we will be celebrating your first birthday! How can my beautiful little baby be turning one soon! The last eleven months have flown by!

You have learned so much this month! You weighed 20lbs 14oz at your 9-12 month check and are in size 5 nappies. You are also starting to go into 12-18 clothes! Much earlier than James did!  We have lowered your cot mattress as you learned to pull yourself up on the bars and we kept finding you standing up!

Your biggest development has been your progress from army crawling to actual crawling! Mummy needs eyes in the back of her head now as you follow me when ever I leave the lounge! I went to make you a bottle and found you sitting at the front door! You were so pleased with yourself! Within a week though you were following me to the kitchen and escaping the lounge when ever the door was left open! You are also cruising the furniture! You like to spend a lot of time on your feet!

You and mummy had a lovely day out at the baby and toddler show in Manchester. It was a very long day as we left home at six am and got home just before eight pm! Mummy got you some new dribble bibs by Funky Giraffe, some new mam goodies and some of the new flavours from Piccolo!

All your little friends have left our baby social group now. You were the youngest of our little group. Lucky we still see some of them at our Thursday group!

We are starting to buy things in for your birthday now, nanny and pappy are coming up from Surrey and we will see nana and gaga. Poor James will be at school on your actual birthday so it will probably be a tea party on the Saturday and a family meal on the day.

You have been really poorly with a nasty virus, you hardly slept for five nights and when you did sleep it was only on mummy or daddy's chests. You've started napping more in your pushchair during the day, which is a big help to mummy, especially if we need to go out and pick your brother up!

We love you so much our little bear

Freddie at Ten Months

My darling little Freddie how can you be ten months old already! Your first birthday is only eight weeks away!

This month has been a good one. You have learned how to army crawl and are so quick at pulling yourself around our lounge! You can also move your infant to toddler rocker around the lounge!

You are in size 4+ nappies, taking 6oz bottles four times a day but depending on what time you wake up some days you will have five bottles, plus three meals! You eat the same as the rest of us on an evening, but I always mush up and freeze extra so there is always something for your lunch or a night we are eating something brown together!

You were an absolutely dream on our first big trip away as a family of four! We took the coach to London then a train out to Surrey to see your grandparents on your daddy's side. You were absolutely brilliant on the coach eating and drinking and of course sleeping! You were a little bit unsettled the first night we were away and poor mummy ended up sleeping on the sofa with you on my chest.

You have said your first word this month too! And it was mum mum! If daddy or anyone says to you where's mummy you look straight to me and grin! I tried to go to the shop without you one day and you started crying and shouting mum mum! Mum mum! So I had to take you me! You have also started trying to walk when you are held up on your feet! It's so strange you doing this at turning ten months as James was doing this at seven months and then started walking days after he turned ten months!

You have really been missing your big brother since he has started school! The first day he was back you woke up at quarter to seven and then didn't go back to sleep till we finished baby social at half past 11 and we were picking James up! You then slept for two hours! The second week of term we had to pick him up at half past one and you were normally napping then so daddy who was on holiday that week was doing the pick ups while I stayed at home with you sleeping! James has been interacting with you a lot more, which has been so lovely to watch.

We had a massive thunderstorm which first woke up mummy and daddy, then it woke up you and finally it woke up your brother. We were all huddled in one bed for a while till daddy took you downstairs so me and James could get some sleep before I took him to school. It was so lovely to hear James comforting you.

We need to find a new normal now James is in school from nine am till quarter past three. We have our two groups on a Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Sadly once you turn one we will have to find a new group for a Tuesday as you will be too old for baby social. You have made a lot of lovely little friends who you love playing with, but I think your big brother is still your favourite person to play with!

James has already started looking at toys in Tesco for your birthday and Christmas! He wants to get you a dumper truck so you and him can play trucks together!

Till next month my little bear, I love you so much

Freddie at Nine Months

Nine months Freddie! How can you have been here nine months! I swear you were only born yesterday!

You are wearing a mix of 6-9 and 9-12 clothes and in size 4+ nappies. You have been a dream to wean and everything you eat is homemade. You have three meals a day and normally three or four bottles depending on your mood. You love bananas and melon but your favourite fruit has to be oranges! You love mummy's pasta bake, and you definitely love a roast dinner! You love crackers and tried melba toast at nana's house. You love yoghurts and have them after lunch and tea.

You've been to another birthday party for mummy's friends little girl and you loved the soft play and even more so the families pet cat! You have also been to your big brothers fourth birthday party!

You have been a little poorly this months with a nasty cold, but the biggest news is you have your first two teeth! They look so cute and mummy cannot wait for you to start giving toothy smiles! You have been having trouble sleeping due to your cold so mummy has saw a lot of the Olympics!

You adore your big brother and you laugh at everything he does! You hate being dressed just like your big brother at the same age. James has got into his superheroes lately so you are often referred to as batboy by you big brother!

We are gearing up for your first trip down to Surrey to meet daddy's family, I hope you do good as we are traveling by coach and train! James was a lot younger when he first went down so he slept most of the traveling!

Only 12 weeks now till you turn a year old! I can't believe how quick it's coming around!

Love you always my little bear

Hoppy Bunny from Babybundle

Freddie is now eight months old and starting to take a real interest in his toys, but he didn't have a special toy like James, who has his CB. So when Baby Bundle sent us the fantastic Hoppy Bunny from Safe Dreams we were thrilled.

We were instantly impressed with Hoppy as he's  made from specially designed 3D Airmesh which has an outer surface of 100% cotton, he's stuffed with Hollowfibre, a hypoallergenic filling which has air pumped into each fibre during the spinning process, he's suitable from birth, machine washable and safe for tumble drying. He is also allergy tested, so ideal for babies who are at risk of allergies.

Being tumble dryer safe is a big plus for mummy as it means if hoppy needs a wash he can be dried for bed time! There have been times when CB has had to have a wash due to James being sick on him and I have been seen drying him with a hair dryer to get him dry.

Freddie has really taken to Hoppy and he has started to go out and about with us attached to the pram so he's not lost.

The fact Hoppy is made from Airmesh, means he is safe to be cuddled close to the face of asleep. Freddie is one of those babies who likes to go to sleep with something close to his face and I used to panic a bit when he would pull a muslin into his face, but now he pulls Hoppy and I can relax knowing he is safe and breathable.

Overall we are thrilled with Hoppy bunny and can see him being a long term attachment to Freddie!

**Disclaimer: We were sent Hoppy bunny free of charge in exchange for this review. All words and images are my own.**

Freddie at Eight Months!

Freddie bear how can you be eight months old! It really does not seem five minutes since you were born.

You have come on so much this month! You are eating three meals a day plus normally four bottles of 6oz! You are in a size 4+ nappy and your clothes are a mixture of 6-9 and 9-12.

Your favourite foods are currently porridge normally with fruit purée mixed in and pasta either in a sauce or baked in oven with cheese. You have developed a love of oranges and bananas from snack time at you baby groups!

You adore your big brother and find him fascinating to watch and laugh at! You are sitting up most of the time now on your baby gym or a blanket playing with your toys. You prefer when having your bottle to be in your chair or sat upright on mummy's knee. The only time you snuggle into me for feed is when you are tired.

You love having cuddles with mummy especially at bed time. You don't like daddy putting you to bed so most nights you end up lying snugged into mummy at bed time.

You don't have a set time for napping. Normally it's just as and when you feel like it. Most of the time you nap when we go out in your pram.

You are such a happy baby and rarely cry. You are still very much a mummy's boy and you do not like being left in a room while mummy pops to kitchen or toilet. You get very vocal and loud!

Love you always my gorgeous little man

Freddie at Seven Months

Freddie Bear how can you be seven months old!

You are now in size four nappies. I haven't had you weighed at baby clinic for a few weeks as I haven't been able to get an appointment, but we got the scales out at fun, play and learn last week and you were 17lbs 5oz! You are in all 6-9 clothing with the odd 9-12 top thrown in from primark! You seem to be a size ahead in their clothing! You love your food and are eating three meals a day. You are still having five bottles most days but only having 5oz instead of 7oz.

You can sit unaided for a few minutes till you get distracted and topple over. You have also discovered rolling from your back to your tummy! Now everytime you are put on your back you flip over, it makes dressing you and changin your nappy very challenging! You can also move yourself around in a circle on your mat or a blanket. You love your baby gym and your infant to toddler rocking chair the most.

This month you have finally moved into your big boy cot in your very own room! The first night you woke at 0230am, so came in with mummy & daddy. The second night you woke up at 0430am and again came in with us. But the third night you slept from half past eight till half past six! Mummy and daddy are so proud of you!

You experienced the swings at the park for the first time. You were not impressed with the big swings, but you loved the basket swing! You loved it even more when you got to swing on your big brothers knee!

Your favourite person is definitely your big brother! You save all your best smiles for James! You can never take your eyes off him.

You love going to our baby groups and are really taking an interest in playing with the other babies!

You have been to two fairs and slept through most of both! You are not liking your stroller one bit as you can't see mummy to chat with!  So I think we will be sticking with the pram for a while longer!

Love you always my little bear

Freddie's Firsts with #PetitsFilousFirsts

We are experiencing so many "Firsts" with Freddie at the moment. He's now six months old and well into his weaning journey. Some of his first foods have been mango, apple, sweet potato and courgette.

My First Petits Filous have come about at just the right time as we are starting to introduce a pudding to Freddie after his evening meal. We always have some sort of fromage frais in the fridge with having a three year old, but these are perfect for introducing to Freddie, plus James is the type of boy who does not like sharing his food!

Where we live, we have some brilliant groups to go to & this is where Freddie has been experiencing most of his "firsts". In the last few weeks he has experienced gloop (cornflour and water), he's had his hands and feet in jelly, he's had his feet painted, he's sat in cornflakes, the list goes on! Being in a sure start centre I was sadly not allowed to photograph him in the jelly but I will be recreating at home so his daddy can see his reaction!

The consistency of the My First Petits Filous is brilliant for a baby if Freddie's age! It's not as thin as some fromage frais, which means it does not fall off the spoon! Even when I mixed fruit purée into it, the consistency did not thin down! This has been one of the things Freddie has eaten the most of lately as he's finding it so hard to suck on his bottle with his tooth coming in.

Not only has Freddie experienced his first Petits Filous, but he also had his first Yorkshire Pudding! He sucked on it and loved it! We went for a meal out for his nana's birthday and he had his first broccoli and even more Yorkshire pudding!

Now he's tried the My First Petits Filous on its own, we have experimented and mixed it with one of his favourite fruits, mango! This went down brilliantly! Freddie gobbled it down! The cool temperature was really soothing on his sore gums.

Freddie has had two really big "Firsts" this last week. He's had his first trip away from home to stay at his nana and gaga's house, which was also first time not in his crib. But the biggest has to be his first tooth starting to cut through his gums. And for Freddie it's one of his top front teeth coming first!

I love celebrating all the "Firsts" for both my boys, James has a big one come September - his first day of big boy school in reception class!

Freddie at Six Months Old!

Happy half birthday my gorgeous little man.
Your six month birthday has come at a sad time for mummy and nana as we have the second anniversary of losing your great nannie tomorrow (26/5). I so wish you could have met her. She absolutely adored your big brother and I know she would have adored you too.

You got weighed at 24 weeks and you were 16lbs 9oz. You are still in size 3 nappies and virtually all your clothes bar a few bits are 6-9 months. You have between four and five 7oz bottles a day plus your solids! You are a very hungry little boy!

You normally start the day with a bottle between five and six am. You sometimes have a little sleep after but often don't! You have your breakfast around half seven you will have baby porridge or fruit mixed with baby rice. You then have a bottle between half nine and half ten. If we are at a group you will have a snack of fruit between ten and eleven am. You will normally have a sleep and then lunch around one/half one. Normally some vegetable purées mixed with baby rice. You then have another bottle and more sleep. Tea is normally between five and half five depending on when you nap. After tea is normally another bottle. You are normally asleep by eight then sleep right through. We have had the odd occasion where you have woken for extra feed at midnight, but I think that's been a growth spurt.

You are still sleeping in your crib in mine and daddy's room, but will be going into your cot in your own room soon. I will miss waking up to you giggling every morning.

You are still very much a mummy's boy. You often pretend to sleep for daddy then wake up when mummy comes up just so you can get cuddles. I love nothing more than being snuggled up with you either in the big bed or on the sofa! You saw you first FA Cup Final and mummy, daddy and James were very excited that Man Utd won! You also watched the FA Vase with us cheering on Morpeth Town AFC! They are the local team to where we lived when James was your age!

Your brother is starting to play a bit with you. There have been times you are sat in your highchair while I am sorting your lunch or tea out and he's been sat next to you showing you his toys! We have learned some great songs at our groups which I sing to you in the kitchen and James often joins in.

I can't believe next month we will be even closer to you turning a year old! Time is going so fast my little bear. You are also going to be experiencing your first trip to Morpeth Fair Day, where Morpeth Town are parading the trophy, and also your first trip to the hoppings fun fair!

All my love

SnoozeShade a review!

Living in the north east of England, lately we have had four seasons in one day! You can never be sure what the weather is going to be like!

Freddie is a winter baby, so in the first few months of his life, the sun has been extremely low, meaning when Freddie is in the pram the sun has been in his eyes.

When Cara from SnoozeShade got in touch and asked if we would like to review a SnoozeShade original, we jumped at the chance. I was hoping this would solve the problems of the sun upsetting Freddie when we are on the school run with James.

Fitting the SnoozeShade to our pram, which is a Mamas and Papas Sola, could not have been any easier. You simply slide over the top of the hood, as the whole product is elasticated, slide over the footrest and secure to the frame with the velcro straps.

There are three elasticated velcro straps on each side of the SnoozeShade. You don't need to use all the straps, I only needed one on each side to secure the SnoozeShade onto the Sola frame.

The first time I used the SnoozeShade it was a very sunny, but windy morning. As soon as I stepped out of the house,Freddie was squinting and shaking his head to try and get his coat hood over his eyes. It literally took me all of five minutes to attach the SnoozeShade to the pram and off we went to drop James at nursery.

The SnoozeShade comes in a drawstring bag, which when empty can go into the changing bag. Even when it contains the SnoozeShade it literally take up no room under the pram or in the changing bag.

Over all it's am 100% over the moon with the SnoozeShade and will definitely be recommending it to all my mummy friends. My favourite thing about the SnoozeShade is the zip opening so I can check on Freddie without taking the whole shade off the pram! James loves unzipping the zip to say hello to Freddie!

Thank you so much for sending us the SnoozeShade Cara! It has certainly made Freddie a happy boy and has certainly made my life easier on the school run!

Using the Yoomi Bottle a Review!

So this post is all about how to use the Yoomi Bottle.

To be honest it is so simple. All you do is charge the warmer, Pour in your feed and put the cap on, press the orange button, wait till the button turns blue, put on the cap, tip upside down for 30 seconds and then feed!

Our Review

On first impressions I was thrilled with the bottle, We have had some abnormally cold weather for April, so even having the feed in the bottle bag on my changing bag on the way to our weekly groups, the feed has still had time to chill especially as we normally have half an hour to wait for most groups between dropping James off at nursery and the group starting.

I found charging the warmer pretty easy. I charged it for the first time once both the boys were in bed, as I knew trying to do it with James around he would distract me and I would probably muck up the charging times.

When I came to use the bottle for the first time I made sure I took the instructions with me so I didn't have a chance to muck it up! at first Freddie was pretty confused when he suddenly got a different bottle in his mouth to what he was used to.

The feed I put into the bottle for him had got chilled in the bag while we were on the school run and he wouldn't take it as it was too cold for him as he normally has all his feeds at room temperature. Using the bottled warmed it up to a nice temperature for him.

The warmer stays warm for an hour, which is great for Freddie has he likes to take half his feed then have a rest then finish the rest about half an hour to an hour later.

I found it brilliant that I could heat up the feed there and then, so I didn't have to leave Freddie either unattended or with one of my mummy friends while I warmed his feed up!

I have since taken the bottle to our three weekly groups meaning Freddie has always had a warm feed especially on these abnormally cold April days we have had this year.

Over all I am 100% thrilled with this bottle and will continue to use it at our groups and in the house when I need to!

Sadly I don't have any photographs of Freddie using the bottle when we are at our groups as we are not allowed to take our own photographs in the Sure Start centres.

Disclaimer: We were sent the Yoomi bottle kit free of charge in exchange for our honest review. All words are my own.

Freddie at five months!

Oops I'm a few days late posting this!

Five months Freddie how is that possible! It feels like it's gone In a blink of an eye!

You are already growing out of 3-6 month clothing from primark! So you are in a mixture of 3-6 and 6-9. You are in size three nappies and take 7oz bottles every three to four hours! You are mostly sleeping from between six thirty and eight on a night till between six thirty and seven thirty the next morning. It's scary that you are fitting into a 6-9 t-shirt that didn't fit James till he was 11 months old.

We have started weaning you onto solids. I was hoping to wait till six months like the guidelines say but you were downing 7oz feeds every 2-3 hours. We gave you a taste n you loved it. Taking it very slow and introducing new flavours slowly. You are now getting a small breakfast of either baby porridge or fruit purée and baby rice. And then a savoury vegetable at lunchtime. Going to keep you on this till you are six months then introduce you to finger foods and more baby lead weaning. So far you love sweet potato, but not too impressed with courgette. Mummy has a freezer draw full of puréed foods in ice cubes just for you!

You are teething big time so you always have some sort of bib on as you are a dribble monster. You had a brilliant time at nana and gaga's wedding anniversary party. You were such a happy boy, you were awake most of the afternoon and evening with short naps in your pram. The only time you cried was when your gums we're hurting. You were giving everyone big smiles and coos.

You are not the biggest fan of tummy time unless it's on mummy. You love your baby gym and also sitting in James old snug chair!

We have bought a connecta baby carrier which you love! We use it around the house and for popping to the shops. I hope by the time you are six months we may be using it more out and about.

You are still very much a mummy's boy, and like nothing better than cuddling up to mummy on an evening on the big bed to have your last feed. You adore you big brother and are always smiling at him and cooing to him.

James has started to pay you more attention and give you kisses, especially when we take him to nursery! He loves pushing your pram around the yard in the morning!

I can't believe next time I write to you, you will be six months old! Half a year Freddie! We will soon be on the countdown to you turning one! But first we have you big brother starting primary school! I'm so pleased he got into our first choice school, which means in a few years time you will be following in his footsteps and attending the nursery there!

Love you always my little bear cub

Siblings April

So here we are in April! Freddie has been here 20 weeks! James has turned very helpful where his brother is concerned. If I am in the kitchen he will come through and tell me if Freddie is crying or he will fetch the bottle from the kitchen while I'm changing a nappy. He's even helped to give Freddie his bottle on a few occasions.

Freddie absolutely adores his big brother and loves nothing better than looking at him and squealing!

I'm linking up this post with the siblings project on Dear Beautiful

What Freddie Wore!

So this is my first post on What Freddie Wore!

So today Freddie is wearing a long sleeved white vest from Primark, a blue tshirt from Tesco, his trousers are from Marks and Spencer & his dribble bib is actually one of James old ones we picked up at a shop in Morpeth.

The tshirt was part of a set of three we bought a few weeks ago, but the trousers and the matching sweatshirt were bought in the sales this past January.
