Blogtober Day Five.

So its Day Five and the prompt is "Something to eat!"

I absolutely adore cooking and try to cook from scratch as much as possible. Especially with Freddie having food allergies.

I used to love baking cakes, but since Freddie went dairy, soya and wheat free it has been quite hard for me to bake often like I used to.

I'm still navigating the whole free from baking, I did try to make some wheat free biscuits a few months ago when we were first attempting the milk ladder with Freddie and the only word he said was yuk!

I am on the hunt for a recipe for free from digestive biscuits as Freddie adores the ones you can buy in the Tesco free from aisle, but at £1.10 a pack he can get through three or four in a week!

So for something to eat its Freddie's biscuits!

  1. It must be so hard finding foods that are safe, and recipes that have been adapted for restricted diets. I hope you manage to find a good recipe for biscuits soon! x

  2. Good luck with your search. I have a lot of dairy and wheat free foods and I think the key is to make your own cost wise. Free from food is ridiculously expensive.

  3. I am so pleased that even though still challenging there are products and recipes available if you have issues like yours #Blogtober19

  4. It must be hard working around Freddie's food allergies but I suppose there is more products available now than there was years ago. £1.10 a pack of digestives is so expensive though x
